help needed in opamp design
May 13th, 2010, 8:58pm

Hi All,
I have opamp spec as follows
Adc=100dB,UGB=900MHz,Supply=1.2V ,Tech=0.13u CMOS
I have 1.2V MOS devices with vthn=vthp~0.45V in this process
Could someone help me in deciding the architecture of opamp  for above specs ?
thanks

hi,
   seems tough spec..but try to use two stage with cascode in the first stage and use some feed forward kind of compensation rather than splitting poles....  better you do the open loop and please publish pole zero location, then people may suggest some tech.

Thanks,
Rajasekhar.

Hi

900MHz is a bit more than usual which means you gotta employ some wideband Amplifier techniques...

Refer Allen Hollberg or some papers.
