hello,
can any one please tell me how group delay of cascaded system will be? I have 4 cascaded broadband amplifiers and i know each stage group delay under proper loading, so what is the overall  Group delay.

Any kind of reference will be appreciated

It must be the sum of each block! Use the fact that the argument of a complex product is the sum of the arguments

Tg = -d(arg(Gtot)) / dw = -d(arg(G1*G2)) / dw =
   = -d(arg(G1)+arg(G2)) / dw = - d/arg(G1)/dw - d/arg(G2)/dw
  = Tg1 + Tg2

thanks you. I forgot about this. Do you have reference based on group delay, i want to improve group delay of my peaking amplifier source capacitive degeneration .

Is there any reason it would not be the sum of the delays?

None that I can think of.
