Lna unconditional stability
Jul 24th, 2017, 5:53pm

Hi

What does unconditional stability of lna implies. Does it mean lna will be stable for all positive input and output impedances or will be stable for wide range of frequency beyond operating frequency or BOTH.

If my source and load impedances are fixed to 50 Ohm then what should be criteria for unconditional stability?

Regards

Hi,

both conditions (impedance and frequency).
As source and load impedances are 50 Ohms, for unconditionally stable, the circuit should be stable form DC to 2f (twice of the operating frequency atleast). K>1

Thanks
