ASSURA  crashes
Sep 07th, 2005, 11:18pm

I am running ASSURA 50 extraction on ACE50 platform. My layout is drawn on Virtuoso Layout editor. DRC and LVS runs properly but RCX exits after doing lots of calculations. I have reproduced the relevant portion of the log below. Can anyone help please ?

It sounds as if you're running an old version of Assura. There was a problem where some of the Assura files were not platform independent (due to byte order issues), and running on Linux with cap_coeff.dat generated on Sun would give this message.

According to my searches, it was fixed in Assura 3.0.6 (assura 3.0.X is no longer supported, BTW) - but even then, if the cap_coeff.dat had been generated on Linux, it would need recreating.

You don't give any clues as to the version of Assura being used - so I can't be more specific.

Best Regards,

Andrew.
