You forgot to mention how to open the loops without affecting the bias points. If you have just one loop, Spectre's stability analysis lets you open the loop without using large inductors and/or capacitors. With multiple interacting loops, you might have to resort to 1GH and/or 1F capacitors. Just be sure you do not short out an impedance that affects the loop in question.

Thanks for the analysis...my brain will be crunching it later!  When I looked at it again, I kind of convinced myself that the topology itself had positive feedback built it.

Anyhow, I will ponder your wisdom in the near future and muster a response.
