hai all
I am new to use AMS. presently we equipped with Cadence IC614 dfII enivronment. i wanted to code SAR ADC in verilog-AMS so before that i just taken the verilog-AMS code listing 12 from this forum and try to simulate it but i am getting errors in the simulation.
i used ADE and try to simulate then also i am getting the errors so can any one tell me how to run verilog-AMS code and test bench using virtuoso ADE
the other thing is can we attach verilog-ams to a technology file like 65nm or 180nm technology
how to get the power estimation from the verilog-AMS code
i am reading the help notes and trying but not able to solve errors if any one can help thanks in advance
Regards
Susona

First create the schematic (any other view) from Library Manger. Then in the same file again create config view and select Hierarchy in Open with.
Then use the template of AMS. In view select the schematic.

Susona,
When creating library for a purely behavioral modeling purposes,
a technology file is not required. You can select none.

Girishnani,
you should start with reading the relevant tutorials. The connect rules should be installed and included in the lib list.
